Joel is top notch when it comes to barbering, he has truly perfected his passion. I truly love coming here it’s always a great experience. Joel is super down to earth and we have great conversations while he is working his magic. My hair is always perfect. Super accommodating to me and my schedule and fair prices. If you’re looking for quality and reasonable price then look no further.
Where do I start, we showed up for gentleman's night two days before my wedding and got the royal treatment. Joel created a smoked chicken masterpiece and did a fade like no other. We got a hot towel, black mask and the shop is decorated man cave style. Joel and Anthony both took their time and really put serious time into making the final product excellent. It's well worth the cash paid, and if your on the hunt for a a new spot definitely check it out
10/10 recommend! Took my 5 year old son here for his first visit with a real barber and Joel knocked it out of the park. He was patient with my wiggly kiddo & the cut turned out better than any other! He also checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure I was liking it, much appreciated. We’ll be back!
We had a great experience seeing Joel for my son’s haircut. Joel took us as last minute walkins Even though he was about to close the shop. My son had actually had a haircut earlier in the day that went very poorly. Joel took his time and fixed my sons hair. He even did a very good job with all of my sons cowlicks. The final product was a very well done haircut!
I contacted buffalo barber surgeons to make an appointment for my son‘s very first haircut. I scheduled an appointment and confirmed it. The day of my son’s appointment, I showed up to find the owner was not there. There was a car in the parking lot but the doors were locked and the open sign wasn’t on. I tried to contact Joel with no luck, he did not answer my calls. This was my first and last time ever trying to go to this place. I had grandparents with me and again it was my son‘s first haircut so it was a very big moment for me that got completely ruined. Very bad business to schedule appointments and not only have your business closed but to also not answer phone calls I find absolutely absurd. My appointment for my son was last week Saturday and as of 8/11, I hadn’t heard anything from Joel. No phone call, no apology, nothing. And I had first posted a review on their Facebook page where i did get a response finally today but the response was so ignorant and was nasty things about my husband (apparently the owner Joel knew him from school) who has nothing to do with this!! So Instead of conducting themselves like a business, they started just blaming others and never took responsibility for their mess up. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! Not to mention when I did show up it looked as if the owner (I’m assuming owner) was passed out on the floor in the building. I’m very thankful this guy never go to touch my child’s head!!! And as of 08/12/22 1:12pm, they still have yet to answer me (not that it matters now) as to what happened. They’re just denied any responsibility. Never in my life have I dealt with a company like this.
As you can see in their response, this company is just lovely at how they conduct their business and themselves. They threaten anyone who left bad reviews. Since my initial post, I have been attacked by the owner of this company multiple times. He clearly has rage issues and idk if drug issues or not because I’ve never met this gentleman in person. I will be coming after this business for this disgusting slander. And all this because you couldn’t be an adult and state you missed an appointment? I have text messages of threats from this company to take down my posts. People are sick these days. I love how the company still hasn’t been able to address the situation, just blatantly disregards it.
Just went and got my first cut here, I live nearby but even if I didn’t, I’d be back. Joel is a really friendly guy who is seriously talented. The vibe is immaculate, really casual atmosphere and you don’t feel like you’re being rushed at all. The attention to detail is really important with a good cut and Joel has it in spades. If you haven’t been I highly recommend.
Best barbershop in Western New York hands down. You can’t beat Buffalo Barber Surgeon’s level of service! Received a phenomenal cut and I can’t recommend this shop enough. Super easy to book online. This man is legit. That's it. He pulled off a hail Mary for me as a first time customer. Clean. Precise. Great haircut. Felt right at home. It makes all the difference in the world when a person genuinely enjoys cutting hair. Will be returning soon. My oldest son who's never had a haircut even wants a cut now.
